Ahto Oja (sündinud 13. oktoobril 1964 Rakveres) on eesti keskkonnakaitse ja strateegilise planeerimise spetsialist.

Elukäik[muuda | muuda lähteteksti]

Ta on õppinud metsandust Eesti Põllumajandusakadeemias (1986–1989) ja omandanud magistrikraadi keskkonnakaitses Helsingi Ülikoolis (1993).

Ta on tegutsenud Tartu Üliõpilaste Looduskaitseringis, Helsingi Ülikooli Teabeteenistuse Eesti keskuses, Eesti Rohelises Liikumises.

Ta töötas Säästva Eesti Instituudis 1997–2007. Aastatel 2003–2005 õppis Oja Iirimaal keskkonnaökonoomika doktorantuuris ja uuris eesti mahetalunikke.

Ta on OÜ Mõnus Minek omanik ja tegevjuht ning arendanud Eestis biogaasi valdkonda.

Oja kandideeris Riigikogu 2011. aasta valimistel (Erakonna Eestimaa Rohelised nimekirjas) Harju ja Rapla maakonnas ning sai 115 häält. 2013. aastal valiti Ahto 151 häälega Saue valla volikokku, kus ta juhatas heakorra- ja keskkonnakomisjoni.
