Kim Basinger, 1990. aasta Oscari auhindade jagamisel

Kimila Ann Basinger (sündinud 8. detsembril 1953 Athensis Georgia osariigis) on Oscariga pärjatud USA filminäitleja ja endine modell.

Biograafia

Tema ema on ujuja ja modell Esther Williams. Tema isa, Don Basinger, oli muusik ja laeluandja. Kim on peres kolmas laps. Tal on vennad Mick, Skip ja õed Ashley, Barbara. Teismeeas vaevas Kimi agorafoobia (lagedakartus), mis pärast ravi aga taganes.

Modellindusega alustas Basinger 16-aastaselt, kui võitis Athensi noorte missivõistluse. Hiljem on ta teinud modellitööd Eileen Fordi moefirmale. Ta on poseerinud ajakirjale Playboy.

Näitlejakarjääri alustas ta 1978. aasta telefilmis "Katie: Portrait of a Centerfold".

1980. aastal abiellus ta moekunstniku Ron Synder-Brittoniga. Nad lahutasid 1989. aastal.

Aastal 1991 osales ta filmis "The Marrying Man", kus kohtas oma tulevast abikaasat Alec Baldwini. Nad naitusid 1993. aastal. Neil on tütar Ireland Eliesse (sündinud 23. oktoobril 1995). Nad lahutasid küll 2002. aastal, kuid kohtuprotsessid lahutuse üle kestavad tänini.
