Periskoop on optiline instrument üle serva või ümber nurga vaatamiseks.

Periskoop koosneb kahest peeglist, mis on 45-kraadiste nurkade all paralleelselt või prismade süsteemist ja suurendavate läätsede süsteemist.

Periskoopi kasutatakse allveelaevades, sõjamasinates, kaevikutes ja blindaažides[1].

Ülevalt eest tuleb valgus/pilt sisse, alt tagant välja.
