Transkraniaalne magnetstimulatsioon

Allikas: Vikipeedia

Transkraniaalne magnetstimulatsioon (TMS) on meetod, mille käigus tekitatakse poolis elektrivoolu abil magnetväli, mis ajule piisavalt lähedal olles mõjutab neuronite elektrilist talitlust. Baltikumis esmakordselt hakati seda meetodit teadusuurimustes kasutama Eestis. Eesti Käitumis- ja Terviseteaduste Tippkeskuse taju ja teadvuse uurimisrühm (juhendaja Talis Bachmann) on vastaval teemal avaldanud rea uurimistöid rahvusvahelistes eelretsenseeritavates teadusajakirjades ja konverentsiteesides.[1]
