Stema orașului Pucioasa, potrivit anexei nr. 1, se compune dintr-un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite.

În interiorul scutului, în câmp de argint, se află un stejar verde dezrădăcinat, peste care se suprapune un brâu undat portocaliu.

Scutul este timbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu trei turnuri crenelate.

Semnificațiile elementelor însumate:

Brâul undat reprezintă zăcămintele de sulf, de unde vine și denumirea localității.

Copacul simbolizează bogăția silvică a zonei.

Coroana murală cu trei turnuri crenelate semnifică faptul că localitatea are rangul de oraș.

Therefore this image is assumed to be in the public domain worldwide, although some of the above categories may be subject to usage restrictions within Romania.
