See kuuelasuline relv on olnud tootmises aastast 1899, see kasutab laskemoona .38 Special ning on K-raamiga. Model 10 on toodetud 51-, 64-, 100-, 130- ja 150-millimeetrise toruga. Tegu on 20. sajandi enimtoodetud käsipüssiga, seda on toodetud üle kuue miljoni.^[1]
